  1. Hi Mr. McCallum, first, and foremost, thank you for your service. I know you don’t think so, but you are a hero and you deserve every accolade that comes your way. I am moved by each of your posts and honored to get to know you and your colleagues, both living and deceased. Everyone of you deserves our praises. As way of introduction, my name is Kevin Carey. Your neighbor, Midge, told me about your blog. Midge, although we only reconnected in the past couple of years, was/is my 2nd mother. Unbeknownst to her, she is my hero. You see, her Alan, Scot and Annette got me through some really rough times as a kid.

Best of luck. I look forward to the book….and yes, the pictures you added this week were a welcomed addition. I can’t wait to see the upcoming video.

again….thank you, thank you, thank you!
